Ticks

Ticks are external parasites that feed on mammals' blood and can cause disease.

Ear Mites

While tiny, ear mites are highly contagious and live in mammals' ear canals.

Heartworm

The small, parasitic heartworm spreads through mosquito bites.

Hookworm

These intestinal parasites use their mouthparts to attach to intestinal walls.

Roundworm

Roundworms eat intestinal contents and are often found in young animals.

Tapeworm

The hook-like tapeworm has a long, flag segmented shape. It lives in the intestines.
